The Republic of Indonesia Police (Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, POLRI) is a government agency related to law enforcement, crime prevention & security intelligence in the Republic of Indonesia. The headquarters of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, POLRI) is located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Jakarta. The headquarters of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, POLRI) is also often referred to by most citizens of the Republic of Indonesia as MABES POLRI or "Markas Besar" of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia.
The post of police chief of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, KAPOLRI) is held by the highest senior police officer in the team, namely the Police General (Jederal Polisi, Jend Pol).
